GUIDE
Create a new self-custody eCash (ECX) wallet directly in your browser. ECXIUM generates your wallet locally so you remain in control of your Recovery Phrase and private keys.
ECX launches in stages. Alpha and Beta use practice ECX for testing, while permanent ECX begins on Mainnet.
An ECX wallet lets you store, receive and send eCash (ECX) while controlling the cryptographic keys associated with your wallet.
ECXIUM is a non-custodial web wallet. Wallet creation happens in your browser, and your Recovery Phrase is the backup that allows you to restore access later.
Creating an ECX wallet does not require an account, email address or transfer of custody to ECXIUM.
Your wallet. Your Recovery Phrase. Your control.
Go to wallet.ecxium.org and choose Create Wallet.
ECXIUM creates a new wallet locally in your browser and generates the wallet's Recovery Phrase.
Write down the Recovery Phrase and store it securely offline. It is the primary backup for restoring the wallet.
Complete the wallet setup only after confirming that the Recovery Phrase has been saved correctly.
Your wallet is ready to receive and manage ECX on the active ECX network.
The Recovery Phrase is the most important backup for a newly created ECX wallet.
Anyone with access to the phrase may be able to restore and control the wallet. ECXIUM cannot recover a lost Recovery Phrase for you.
Recovery Phrase Guide Backup Wallet GuideThe wallet should always make the active ECX network clear. This section is intentionally compact so the page stays focused on creating a wallet.

Important: Alpha and Beta balances and transactions are for testing. They are not permanent Mainnet ECX.
Learn more about ECXAfter setup, ECXIUM gives you the core tools for managing ECX on the active network.
If you already control an eligible Bitcoin wallet, you do not need to create a new ECX wallet simply to access the ECX associated with those Bitcoin keys.
Instead, import the eligible Bitcoin wallet into ECXIUM using a compatible Recovery Phrase or WIF private key.
ECXIUM detects the corresponding ECX and automatically handles safe coin splitting and replay protection where required.
Import Wallet Guide How to Claim ECX Split BTC and ECXNo manual claim or manual split process is required with ECXIUM. Import your eligible Bitcoin wallet and ECXIUM handles the safe separation automatically where required.
