eCash (ECX)란?
eCash (ECX) 네트워크, Bitcoin과의 관계, Alpha/Beta testnet 단계, Mainnet에서 시작되는 Permanent ECX를 설명하는 가이드입니다.
eCash (ECX)란 무엇인가요?
eCash (ECX)는 Bitcoin ledger snapshot을 기반으로 한 별도의 blockchain입니다.
관련 snapshot block에서 BTC를 보유한 Bitcoin 주소에는 네트워크 규칙에 따라 해당 ECX 잔액이 배정됩니다.
ECX는 단계적으로 출시됩니다. Alpha와 Beta는 testing용 Practice ECX를 사용하며 Permanent ECX는 Mainnet에서 시작됩니다.
Bitcoin이 ECX로 변환되는 것은 아닙니다. BTC는 Bitcoin에 남고 ECX는 별도의 네트워크에 존재합니다.
ECX와 Bitcoin은 어떤 관계인가요?
ECX 잔액은 Bitcoin blockchain snapshot에서 파생됩니다.
특정 snapshot block의 적격 BTC 잔액이 해당 ECX stage에 반영됩니다.
이 과정은 Bitcoin을 이동, 변환 또는 삭제하지 않습니다.

ECX는Bitcoin ledger에서 파생되므로 post-fork transaction에는 replay protection과 coin splitting이 필요할 수 있습니다. ECXIUM은 적격 import에서 이 과정을 자동화합니다.

Important Notice
Alpha and Beta ECX are practice balances. They should not be confused with permanent ECX created at the mainnet snapshot around block ~973,728.
Bitcoin에는 어떤 일이 생기나요?
Your Bitcoin remains Bitcoin.
The ECX snapshots do not move, convert or remove BTC from the Bitcoin network.
After the fork, BTC continues to exist on Bitcoin while ECX exists separately on the eCash network.
Bitcoin은 계속 Bitcoin입니다.
ECX snapshot은 BTC를 변환, 이동 또는 삭제하지 않습니다. BTC는 Bitcoin blockchain에 남고 ECX는 별도 네트워크에 존재합니다.
shared pre-fork history 때문에 post-fork 자산을관리할 때 replay protection과 safe coin separation이 중요합니다.

Bitcoin addresses holding BTC at the relevant snapshot blocks receive corresponding ECX balances according to the eCash network rules.
관련 snapshot 시점에 BTC를 보유한 Bitcoin 주소는 네트워크 규칙에 따라 해당 ECX 잔액을 받습니다.
Alpha/Beta = Practice ECX. Mainnet snapshot = Permanent ECX.
snapshot 당시 BTC가 exchange/custodian에 있었다면 ECX 접근은 해당 서비스의 지원 여부에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다.
